What is the ServoXciter EF?
The ServoXciter EF is a handy little tool that lets you easily drive and test servos, set up linkages in your R/C craft, and do some receiver diagnostics. The ServoXciter EF was released in 2002. - Manually move your servo without requiring the receiver or transmitter. check the servo for proper movement, limts, etc. install the servos in your R/C craft and perfectly set-up linkages without using your radio! - Check the amount of current your servo is drawing. check the servo for binding while installed in your R/C craft. - Check the deadband of your servo. match servos used in "ganged" operation to minimize the risk of a tug-of-war which causes higher current draw. - Check your receiver's pulse output to the servo. check for pulse accuracy, repeatability, etc. Save your receiver's center position and endpoints in the ServoXciter. - Check your receivers pulse output for glitches (short pulses, long pulses, and missing pulses). great for doing accurate radio range checks. - Check the voltage of your flight pack. shows you the actual voltage of your loaded system.
