Hi, what is the latest software version (I have 2.00) for the ServoXciter? Is there a possibility for software upgrade?

The latest software version is 2.20. This adds a record feature where you can record up to 39 seconds of custom movements and then play them back continuously in a loop. This may be useful when using the ServoXciter to control the break-in of a gas engine - for example, idle for 10 seconds, ramp up to 1/2 throttle for a few seconds, upt to 3/4 throttle, back to 1/4 throttle, etc. If you would like the latest software please contact us via e-mail to let us know (orders@vexacontrol.com). Ok I would be interested. Will this also add support for digital servos or will that be in a next version?

The ServoXciter can currently drive digital servos (but cannot program digital servos). The only servos that the ServoXciter could not drive correctly were servos that required the high frame rate (normally in gyro systems). Let me know if you would like high frame rate ability - I am working on the software to allow this feature in the ServoXciter. Alan

I have just recently finished the high frame rate software (V2.3) and have tested it in the lab to verify the frame rate, etc. But I have not tested it in practical operation with a high frame rate servo because I do not own any as of yet. The frame rate the ServoXciter uses during normal operation is 20mS - in the new version (V2.3) when you press and hold the SELECT and SCROLL buttons during power-up the ServoXciter will switch to High Frame Rate mode (and issue a warning) at which time the frame rate used will be 4mS. If you want this version I will program it for you, but just keep in mind that I have not completed practical tests. I will be purchasing a couple of high frame rate servos most likely at the Perry meet. I do not foresee any issues, but I like to test for my self before fully releasing new software. Alan

I have a newly purchased ServoXciter driver/tester which has no display. Please inform me how I can have this repaired or replaced.
