The "cat killer" modification for the Clever Drago
If you have one of the micro two rotor R/C indoor helicopters (Clever Dragonfly, Syma 9092, etc) you may have noticed that forward and reverse flight seems almost non-existent. The removal of the protective ring around the tail rotor (known as the "cat killer" modification) allows the tail rotor to spin to a higher speed which allows the helicopter to move forward and backward better.
This modification made a big difference and I can now pinpoint fly it in any direction I choose. The helicopter doesn't have a fast rate of speed, but it is totally acceptable for an indoor helicopter,
