How to use the ServoXciter EF to do a radio range check?
This suggestion was presented by Cal Orr in the "Radio Spectrum" column of the Spetember 2003 issue of Radio Control Modeller magazine. Set the ServoXciter EF into "glitch counter" mode and then plug it into one of the channels of your receiver. Do your normal distance range check but check the ServoXciter for any glitches. This method will let you know if you dropped any pulses even though you may not have seen and control surface movement.
