Can I use a power supply with the ServoXciter EF?
The ServoXciter EF is not naturally set-up to use a wall power supply - BUT you can easily set this up yourself by wiring the wall supply into the 9 volt battery compartment. If you use your ServoXciter mostly at your bench, this could be a good way to save batteries. The ServoXciter can safely handle voltages up to 12.7 volts through the battery terminal contacts. You should use a power supply that is capable of at leat 800 mA in order to supply power for high current draw situations. The ServoXciter EF is protected against reverse voltages through the battery terminal contacts, so don't worry if you accidentally wired it backwards the first time!
